He is here

There is no turning back...Maxwell Chapman Roberts has arrived.  Here is to learning everything over.  At least I didn't forget the art of changing diapers; however, I have forgoten how dang many they go through.  If anyone is up for practicing their diaper skills, please let me know I will be more than happy to give you some time.

Sleeping bags and stairs...what a combo

Remember the days of sleep overs, sleeping bags, and stairs.

Porter and his friends were "sliding" down the stairs with his blanket.  SO... I thought I would upgrade him to the turbo slick sleeping bag.

Defense in Basketball

We are watching the basketball playoffs in our home.
The crowed is yelling "defense, defense."
Porter joins in..."Jesus, Jesus."

Very close Porter, very close.

Jesus picture

We have this picture in our room. Porter looks at it today and said, "He has a gun."
I got a good laugh at that.

Skateboarding with Porter

I got this skateboard at a garage sale. Porter said,"Oh thank you mommy, can we go to the skate park?" I thought it was so funny.
My little three year old is growing up too fast.

Cookies

There were two cookies on the counter

Porter said, "Is your tummy full mommy?"

I said, "yes!"

Porter said, "OK, I will eat these two(cookies) I guess."

Thanks Porter

Who knew band-aids could be used for more than one purpose? Too bad it didn't last longer.

My Pajama boy

Dinner time and Porter is still in his Pajamas. I know, who is the mom? But really, I don't care. If he really wants to stay in his pajamas all day long, good for him. I would too! It is a good thing we have a surplus of pajamas.

We were watching my niece Kloe one day. She was sleeping so we put her on Porter's bed. Porter just wanted to be right by her.
Then Porter decided he wanted to read Kloe a book. It was really cute.

Porter set this up to eat on. I love that he always wants to put up his feet.

Barry and scouts

Barry went to Wood Badge. He worked hard and received his Wood badge award. I think he had a lot of fun doing it and learned a lot too! Good job Barry!

Things Porter says

Instead of uh-huh for yes, he will say uh-uh (like no).
yesterder = yesterday
ewaxing = relaxing
piderman = Spiderman
pot = spot
Picy = spicy
earing fection = ear infection
fink = think

We call him Larry sometimes. It is hilarious. He says, "I'm not Rarry, mommy is Rarry." or "I'm not Rarry, you are Rarry." It is really funny, he does not want to be called Larry

Marbulous, pajamas, and Spiderman

This is Porter to a “T.” First, with the Spiderman shirt. He loves Spiderman. I don't know where he got to like it so much but he does. He has never seen the movie or any cartoons with Spiderman, so it is kind of funny. Second, his pajama bottoms. Porter will change out of his pajamas to get into another set of pajamas. He would go to church in his pajamas if I let him. Third, he loves playing Marbulous. This kid could play this game all day long (oh wait, he does). He loves it. We need a room just devoted to Marbulous.

Bike Riding

Water break

Being silly

Porter first learned to ride his bike at Walmart. He would ride each one his size. I would always ask him which one he liked the most (so I could get it for Christmas). Well, he would always choose the pink one with the basket in front and the baby carrier in the back. Too bad for him, I opted out of buying that one and went for Spiderman. I think he still likes it.
Today was the first warm day, so we took the bike outside. Porter wanted a ramp, just like the older boys next door. So this was the best I could come up with. He loved it!
I love his outfit...pajamas, moon boots, and helmet. Doesn't get better than that!

Just "ewaxing"

Porter set up this gig and I asked him what he was doing. He said, just "ewaxing" (relaxing).
